Union Plastic Industries (UPI) has been in the plastic business since 1996. We started with blow and injection molding, supplying plastic bottles to high-end users in the pharmaceutical industry, before diversifying in 2005 and becoming the first company to hot-wash post-consumer PET bottles in Pakistan. In 2019, we expanded our business to the UAE and started our post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste recycling in Hamriya Free Zone in Sharjah.
UPI is part of a group of companies operating in multiple sectors and we take great pride in producing high quality products for our esteemed and discerning customers across the globe. Apart from our plastic waste recycling division, we have a fabrication and machinery manufacturing arm as well, which has been operating for the last 25 years and has successfully installed 400 plastic waste washing lines across Pakistan.
UPI also makes plastic recycling machinery, and our healthcare division currently owns and operates a state-of-the-art 70-bed hospital in Lahore, Pakistan.
